Why are cremations taking longer?

Since our inception, we have strived to make cremations as simple as possible for families. With the recent surge of the Omicron variant, there have been significant staffing shortages in healthcare and state government offices, which perform essential paperwork for the cremation process to move forward. As a result, cremations are taking approximately 21 days. Additionally, death certificate processing at the county level can be delayed.
