Ronald J. Spry
Ronald J. Spry, of Frazier Park, California, passed away from a long illness on November 6, 2022, in Los Angeles, California. He was 72 years old. He will be sadly missed by friends and family.
Ron was born in Detroit, Michigan to Roy J. Spry and Virginia Fay Spry on October 24, 1950. He was a long-time resident of Ventura, California. He spent his younger years in Ilion, NY and the Philadelphia suburbs before relocating to Ventura over 40 ago. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed camping, hiking and Ventura beaches with his beloved dogs. Most notably Ron served our country as a young man. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy and served in the Vietnam War.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers Daniel (Karen) Spry, Michael (Kim) Spry, Steven Spry and sister Linda Howald (Robert) along with nine nieces and nephews.
Per Ron’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Friends are welcome to make donations to the U.S. Veterans Affairs in Ron’s honor.
